byeCarol’s 2024 Autumn/Winter Bridal Couture collection, “Killing the Bride,” reframes the wedding gown as a symbol of resistance. Housed in a coffin-inspired “grave box,” the narrative unfolds across five interconnected booklets:

Brides in Flames (Flipping Booklet): Thumb-through flip frames echoing the campaign’s sequenced motion.
The Vows, The Eulogy (Polaroid Album): Loose instant-style portraits conveying intimacy and memory.
The Invitation (Linesheet): A clean grid of each look’s silhouette outline paired with basic designer credits.
Wedding or Funeral (Lookbook): Open-book spreads lie flat, inviting tactile engagement as each page reveals dramatic editorial imagery.
Who Killed Her (Editorial): Magazine-style essays and backstage stills driving the collection’s narrative.

All five volumes use Coptic binding to expose the spine and open fully, then nest in a custom, die-cut “grave box.” A unified black-and-white palette and elegant serif typography reinforce the collection’s stark, resistant aesthetic. Together, these publications form an immersive artifact that challenges tradition, spotlights craftsmanship, and amplifies byeCarol’s call to reexamine the rituals of love and commitment.
