The design concept combines elements of the Peranakan culture, art, and modernity to create a unique and inviting banking environment.
Redefining Brand Identity:
To reiterate the Peranakan culture, the design draws inspiration from various aspects of Peranakan heritage, including food, art, fashion, and architecture. The Kebaya, a traditional ethnic dress, serves as a significant influence. Floral motifs from the Kebaya are translated into partition screens and design fixtures, creating a harmonious blend of modernity and tradition.
Premier Banking Section:
The Premier Banking section is transformed into a luxurious space reminiscent of a hotel concierge. The design blends elements from the traditional Peranakan house with a modern twist, creating a unique and opulent atmosphere that resonates with the bank's premium clientele.
Banking Hall as an Art Gallery:
To showcase and celebrate the rich Peranakan arts and culture, the banking hall is designed as an art gallery. This immersive experience allows customers to appreciate and connect with Peranakan heritage. The selection of materials and colors plays a vital role in creating distinct atmospheres within the banking hall.
