Bathed in sunlight within a 66 square meter apartment, Mousse de Lune evokes the image of a delicate French dessert—soft, airy, and pure. The designer named the project accordingly, alluding to the whipped cream–like white tones and flowing textures that define the space.

The original layout was redefined by eliminating unnecessary partitions, allowing light and air to move freely. The overall palette resembles the smooth whiteness of whipped cream, while decorative moldings, like the lace edges of handmade pastries, subtly outline the cabinets and walls to compose a gentle and rhythmic spatial narrative. Herringbone wooden flooring lays a textured dance across the ground, resonating with the water-cut angled stone textures of the TV wall to form a three-dimensional vocabulary that moves vertically and horizontally. Delicate metallic handles add refined touches throughout.

Materials were carefully chosen, including F1-certified eco-friendly panels and non-toxic adhesives, ensuring that the air remains as clean and crisp as fresh morning frost. Once inhabited, traces of daily life are cleverly tucked away within built-in storage, preserving a sense of clarity and openness. Like a soufflé with just the right amount of sweetness, the space requires no excessive embellishment—its lightness carries lasting charm.
