The site is a semi-empty apartment. The "London Vision" project reveals the owner’s emotional connection to their time living in London. London's rainy and damp weather can evoke a sense of gloom. However, the designer sought to create an alternative vision of London, using clean color schemes and gentle curves to evoke a brighter, more uplifting image. With its expansive views of Kaohsiung Harbor and dual natural lighting, the site allowed for an open-plan design in the living and main areas to maximize the scenic outlook, maintaining an elegant flow throughout daily life.
To capture the essence of a rainy city, switchable and moru glass create a subtle interplay of light and shadow, while linear lighting strengthens the sense of extension. The design prioritizes sustainable materials, ensuring both environmental friendliness and quality living. The palette is dominated by light blue and white, with stone patterns and curved elements imparting a refreshing, mist-like visual, evoking the brightness of a sunny day following the rain.
