Mellow white light gently enters from the large floor-to-ceiling windows to the room. The touch of light extends along the unobstructed traffic flow, and the warmth of wood adds layers to the elegant spatial texture. Away from the fast-paced city, the serene abode oozes a sense of coziness. To offer a transparent and generous sense of sight, the open layout expands the depth of view in the public area. Wood low wall behind the sofa, half-height bar, and different flooring materials create invisible boundaries and maintain a smooth line of sight.
At the entryway, hand-troweled textures of the gray paint along with hexagonal tiles on the wall reveal a sense of stability to welcome people home. Since the original layout of the corridor was narrow, a mirror can create an illusion of space and added depth by reflecting light and breaking up visual clutter. A straight-on, unobstructed sight line turns the greenery outside the window into a pleasing view, offsetting the sense of compactness after entering the door.
TV wall in wood tones reveals the main scene, and the intersection of materials is trimmed with diagonal lines to soften the obstructive vertical lines. At the bottom, a shallow platform is the base of the TV cabinet. The staggered platform and cabinet add layers to the scene. The wall behind the sofa is in the same wood tone and paint. Its design echoes the main wall, which gives the space a refined yet simple vibe. The study room is equipped with a sofa by the window to offer a place for the homeowner to enjoy the view. A half-height bar delineates the light meal area. An appliance cabinet and a sink fit homeowners' lifestyle, allowing them to cook and make coffee easily.
A sense of tranquility spreads to the bedroom. Simplified colors and materials bring the pure essence of life to the space. In the master bedroom, the headboard in layered wood tones creates a delicate touch. To free up floor space significantly, the space beneath the beams can add storage and functionality to the home.
