The interior design project revolves around the creation of a private residence. The homeowner and his parents are dedicated practitioners of Buddhist Zen, which heavily influenced the design approach. The designer chose to incorporate the Japanese wabi-sabi style as the central theme, aiming to cultivate a serene and harmonious atmosphere that resonates with the residents. The infusion of neoclassical elements allowed for an artful fusion of Eastern and Western design principles, resulting in a truly distinctive living space.

Addressing the homeowner's storage needs, the designers employed a diverse range of cabinet designs to provide an extensive storage capacity while also ensuring a seamless integration with the overall aesthetic and practical considerations. Moreover, the layout was meticulously crafted to not only prioritize visual appeal but also to adhere to the principles of Feng Shui, ultimately establishing a space that promotes a convenient and comfortable living environment for its inhabitants.

The design of the space revolves around the use of neutral colors, simple lines, and rounded corners to establish a tranquil and inviting home setting. Upon entering the foyer, a carefully placed screen addresses a Feng Shui concern stemming from the alignment of the entrance and the living room's floor-to-ceiling windows, which could traditionally be seen as a risk for wealth leakage. The screen, crafted from light-permeable icicle glass, effectively maintains brightness and airiness in the foyer while preserving privacy. In the living room, a soothing palette of earth colors dominates the space, complemented by warm wood flooring to cultivate a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the cabinets between the dining room and foyer serve a dual purpose by providing storage for kitchen essentials and acting as a divider to mitigate Feng Shui concerns.

The study serves as a private sanctuary for the homeowner, exuding an elegant western neoclassical style characterized by rich dark wood grain and striking indigo door panels. Metal accessories delicately adorn the space, enhancing its graceful and refined atmosphere. The entrance to the master bedroom's bathroom features a clever hidden door design seamlessly integrated into the wall, fostering a sense of cohesive design.
