The residential and commercial building in Überlingen on the lakeside promenade is being carefully refurbished with a focus on interior design. A central concept is to bring the lake inside, which is achieved through colours, materials and larger window openings with views of the lake. The ground floor includes a new catering concept with a restaurant and bar, while the first floor offers a seminar location and office space. The two-storey top floor will house flats with a view of the lake. Upcycling plays an important role: existing beams are refurbished and historical furniture is reused. Old wooden beams and insignia are integrated in order to preserve the historical charm and create a harmonious link between past and present.
